Overview

Speaker Test 'n' Cleaner (speakertestncleaner.com) is a set of free, browser-based audio tools. Every tone, tab, and animation on this site runs locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. Nothing you hear is ever recorded, uploaded, or transmitted to a server.

Information we don't collect

We don't have user accounts, and we don't collect or store:

• Audio input, output, or microphone data
• Names, email addresses, or other personal information (unless you email us directly — see Contact, below)
• Payment or billing information

Local storage

The site uses your browser's local storage for two things only: remembering your light/dark theme preference, and remembering the speaker layout you've arranged in the surround sound test. This data stays on your device — it's never sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies & analytics

We don't set tracking cookies and don't run any analytics or advertising scripts. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first, and the update will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

Server logs & hosting

Like virtually any website, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data for security and operational purposes — things like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. We don't access this data for tracking or marketing purposes, and it isn't linked to any activity within the tools themselves, since the tools never talk to a server at all.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age — see above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
